She has no idea how long it's been, how far she went after she parted ways with her war buddies, but the last thing on her mind was, well, anything else. It's a simple desire that never really got to be fulfilled, really. After being so far gone from it, all she wants is to be where she belonged. Even if it's all in ruins, even if it's completely changed from those days, there still has to be something there for her to come back to, right? She can't have come all this way for nothing. There's no way.

...well, she's been walking for long enough, in any case. There's no harm in sleeping the lingering exhaustion off, is there?

Red Hood has no idea where she is right now -- the streets all start looking the same once you've walked far enough on an empty stomach. But maybe that comfy bench over there'll do. Her radio battery's still got some kick in it, so maybe she can fall asleep to the dulcet tones of her favorite jams in the meantime. She lies down on it, puts up her legs, puts both hands behind her head...

And starts snoring obnoxiously loudly.

By this point, Inaba Himeko and Raiden Mei had settled into something close to a routine, after their reunion. The remnant Honkai were a problem, still, and Anti-Honkai Squad 3 were among the most frequently deployed to the frontlines, with Squad 2 not too far behind. She hadn't counted on being the proxy captain for the unit for as long as she has, but with the proper leader still busy with other tasks, Bronya found herself filling those shoes out of necessity. She wouldn't do it with complaint -- if anything, she, too, was used to having the world on her shoulders. It was normal, for all of them. Expected.

But even as reliable as they were in the face of ever-recurrent danger, they needed breaks from that. They needed to simply be themselves, too. Thankfully, the next wave of peace was going to last for a bit longer. Yes, there was one mission being sorted out by the Overseer, but they wouldn't be needed for it, at least not yet. So it's at this point that Bronya decides to hatch something.

...one morning, Inaba will find a message in her inbox, one containing a link to a rather large file. The name would probably jump out at her at a glance -- "alloy_bron private project.zip"...
